Sky Useful Pages: Service Status
Between Sky’s home broadband, phone and TV offerings, they’ve got a presence in every room of our home. That means that when something goes wrong, it can bring our lives to something of a halt. After all, how many of us can work without the Internet, can socialise without a working phone or relax in the evening without TV?
Recently, in an effort to save people the effort from calling Sky on 0844 800 3115, Sky launched the Service Status page. It’s goal? To let Sky customers know if there’s a part of their network that’s gone down. So, how does it work?
How can I access the Service Status page?
Accessing the Service Status page is as simple as going to servicestatus.sky.com, from there you’ll be able to see the current status of Sky Broadband, Talk and TV and TV Apps. Alternatively, you can enter your Sky Talk phone number and check to see if there’s a specific problem with your phone line. If there is, Sky will work with you to resolve the issue and get you back to full functionality as quickly as possible.
My issue isn’t listed on the Service Status page?
Are you experiencing an issue that isn’t listed on the Service Status page? You can log in with your Sky ID to check your services directly, as well as offering a more complete view of your local areas issues (if indeed there are any).
Should this fail to turn up any issues, it might be time to contact them directly on the customer service line. Their team of customer service reps will sort you out as quickly as possible. The issue has likely stemmed from a part of your equipment or from incorrect fitting, and will therefore not appear on the Service Status page.
