Just follow this easy step by step tutorial that will help to walk you through the procedure of Galaxy Note 2 Camera Replacement:
Reminder: Exercise extreme caution.
Phillips #00 Screwdriver.
Plastic Razor tools.
Hold the end of the stylus pen and pull it out from its slot in the mid frame.
Use the plastic razor tool to wedge in the divot near the power button, to the left of the rear-facing camera.
Hold and lift the rear case by the corner near the divot and gently pull it away from the main body.
Remove your device battery, its micro SD card as well as the SIM card.
Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all the eleven 4.0 mm Phillips #00 screws which attach the mid frame to the main display assembly.
Insert the plastic razor tool in between the mid frame and front panel assembly on the side of your phone device and slide the plastic razor tool down the seam edges.
Continue to pry the plastic razor tool all around the seam edges of your device and free all the plastic clips coming in its way.
Gently lift the front display assembly away from the mid frame.
Detach the front facing camera assembly:
Just unscrew and remove the single 3mm Phillips #00 screw with your Phillips screwdriver, which secures the front-facing camera bracket.
Just lift and remove the front-facing camera bracket.
Use the flat end of the spudger tool to pop off the front-facing camera connector.
Now gently pull out and remove the front facing camera assembly.
Replace it with the new front facing camera assembly.
Now to reassemble your Galaxy Note 2 device, just follow the above instructions in reverse order (i.e. back from step 5 to step 1).
Reminder: Before putting back all the eleven Phillips #00 screws while redoing step 3, just place the battery back in advance and turn the device ON to check whether the front camera is properly or not. If not, then turn it OFF and again recheck all the connecters.
Screw back all the #00 nuts to attach the mid frame with main display assembly.
Place back the SIM card, micro SD card and the battery.
Now your Galaxy Note 2 device is ready with a fresh front facing camera for you to start a video chat instantly or click numerous selfies.
