  • Suction Cup.
  • SIM Card Extract Tool.

  • First of all, power off your device.
  • With your Pentalobe screwdriver, just unscrew and remove both of the 3.6 mm Pentalobe screws near the Lightning connector.

  • Now press the suction cup just above the home button assembly.
  • Then hold your device down with your one hand and carefully lift up the suction cup to detach the front panel assembly slightly away from the rear case.
  • Use your plastic razor tool, to carefully pull the rear case down, while you pull up the display assembly with the suction cup.
  • Keep on sliding the razor tool around the front panel assembly edges and gently detach the left and right side clips.
    • After releasing the clips on the bottom as well as around the front panel assembly sides, just separate the front assembly’s bottom away from the rear case assembly.
    • Gently pick the front panel assembly up to right about 90 degrees angle making a right angle with the rear case assembly.

  • Unscrew and remove all the Phillips screws (two 1.2 mm and a single 1.6 mm screw) which attaches the front panel assembly cable bracket with the logic board.
  • Then detach the front panel assembly cable bracket from the logic board assembly.
  • With your plastic razor tool, just pop off and disconnect the Digitizer cable, LCD cable and the Front-facing camera cable as well as the sensor cable.
  • Then just detach the front panel assembly away from the rear case assembly.

  • With your Phillips screwdriver just unscrew and remove both of the Phillips screws (single 1.8 mm and a single 1.6 mm screw) which attaches the metal battery connector bracket with the logic board.
  • Detach the metal battery connector bracket away from your device.
  • With your plastic razor tool, carefully disconnect the battery connector from its socket on the logic board.
  • Take out the iPhone 5 battery.

  • Use the spudger tool tip to pop off the cellular data antenna cable connector from its socket on the logic board.
  • Use the Phillips screwdriver to unscrew and remove both of the Phillips screws (single 1.5 mm and a single 2.3 mm screw) that attaches the top logic board bracket with the rear case assembly.
  • Detach the bracket away from the top of the logic board.
  • With the spudger tool’s flat end, just pop off all the cables including button assembly cable, upper as well as the lower interconnect cable, away from the logic board.
  • Unscrew and remove both of the Phillips screws (two 1.3 mm screws) from the rear case inner top.
  • Unscrew and remove, with your Phillips screwdriver, the single 1.2 mm screw located within the logic board bracket mid-section.
  • Detach the mid-section bracket away from the logic board.
  • With your spudger tool, disconnect the Lightning connector cable from its socket on the logic board.
  • Carefully peel off the cable from the logic board.

  • With a SIM card extract tool or any paperclip, try to eject both the SIM Card as well as the SIM card tray.
  • Take out the SIM card tray from your device.
  • Unscrew and remove all the screws (two 2.3 mm Phillips screws, two 2.7 mm standoff screws and a single non-magnetic 2.7 mm standoff screw) that attach the logic board with the rear case assembly.
  • Just flip the logic board assembly towards the rear case battery section.

Reminder: Don’t try to remove the logic board assembly away from the rear case yet, as there might be a single cable which is still connected with the logic board underside.

  • Use your spudger tool tip to disconnect the Wi-Fi antenna cable connector away from its socket with the logic board underside.
  • Detach the logic board assembly away from the rear case.

Reminder: Keep your logic board safe and secure to prevent any type of damage to the circuitry.

  • With the spudger tool’s flat end, just disconnect the Wi-Fi antenna away from the rear case assembly, starting right from the cable connection’s underneath.
  • Detach the Wi-Fi antenna away from the rear case.

  • Replace the old Wifi antenna with the new one.
  • Now to reassemble your iPhone 5 device, just follow the above steps in reverse order (back from Step 7 to Step 1).
