  • Now before starting the disassembly process, just power off your iPhone 5S device.
  • Then just unscrew and remove both of the Pentalobe screws (3.9 mm), fixed right near the Lightning connector.

  • Now just place your portable suction cup just above the screen, right over the home button.
  • Just hold down your iPhone device with your one hand. Then use the portable suction cup to pull up the front panel assembly’s home button end and slightly detach it away from the back case.
  • Use your plastic razor tool to carefully disconnect the back case’s edges down and away from the front panel assembly, while simultaneously pulling the front panel up with your portable suction cup.

Reminder: Don’t attempt to detach the front panel assembly completely from the rear case, as there might be numerous ribbon cables which are still secured with your iPhone’s top end.

  • Just pull up the plastic nub and release the suction cup’s vacuum seal.
  • Then detach the suction cup away from the front display assembly.
  • Now open up your iPhone device till the point where the metal bracket wrapping up the home button cable is visible.

  • Use the spudger tool tip to release the bracket free and just detach it with tweezers tool.

  • Gently detach the cable bracket of front panel assembly away from the logic board assembly.
  • Use your spudger tool’s flat end to gently detach the front-facing camera cable as well as the sensor cable.
  • While still holding the front panel assembly, carefully detach the digitizer cable connector.
  • Then gently detach the LCD cable connector.
  • Finally release the front panel assembly away from the back case.

  • Just detach the rear-facing camera away from the back case.
